When we founded Resonance Improv Alliance, the goal wasn’t just to put on “funny shows.” It was to create a space where everyone—regardless of their circumstances—could experience the transformative power of unscripted theater.

As we approach Comedy, Etc., I want to talk about how we’re making that vision a reality through our ticket programs.

SUNSHINE: Our Open Door We believe that joy shouldn’t have a paywall. Our SUNSHINE tickets are complimentary seats reserved specifically for members of our community who might otherwise find a night at the theater out of reach. Whether you’re a student, a neighbor going through a hard time, or someone who just needs a win, these seats are for you. No questions asked.

RADIANCE: Paying it Forward The only way SUNSHINE works is through the incredible generosity of our audience. When you make a fully deductible RADIANCE FUND donation, you are sponsoring a seat for someone else. It is a “Pay-It-Forward” model that ensures our audience is as diverse and vibrant as the 14 acts performing on stage.

Theater is at its best when the room is full of people from all walks of life, laughing at the same absurd moment. By choosing RADIANCE, you’re helping us ensure that our “Experiment in Social Joy” includes everyone.
